I’ve worked with Nick at Summit Tattoo and Piercing on a Native American–inspired sleeve that tells my story, and the experience has been outstanding from start to finish. The sleeve itself was completed over the course of multiple sessions and has now been finished for almost a year—and it still looks incredible. I gave him a lot of room for artistic expression within some clear guidelines, and he brought everything together in a way that feels both personal and cohesive.

I’m currently back working with him on a portrait of my great grandfather on my calf, and even though it’s still in progress, it’s already amazing. Nick’s portrait work is top notch.

He took the original photo of my great grandfather and adapted it so the piece is symmetrical and flows well on the body, while still staying true to the historical detail. That balance isn’t easy, and he nailed it.
